KOTA BHARU, Aug 23 (Bernama) -- The 10 undocumented migrants who escaped from the Tanah Merah Immigration Depot, actively being pursued by authorities, are identifiable by their bright green uniforms and shaved heads.
The Kelantan Contingent Police Headquarters confirmed today that the escapees are still believed to be wearing the depot's distinctive bright green detention attire, complete with printed identification numbers, among them 18101 and 18802.
"Their last known location was Bukit Tebu, Tanah Merah. We urge the public to report any sightings or information on their whereabouts," the statement read.
The statement posted on the Kelantan Contingent Police Headquarters’ Facebook page said the fugitives comprise seven Thai nationals, one Indonesian, one Bangladeshi and one Rohingya.
Authorities have advised the public not to approach or take any action against the escapees if spotted, but to immediately alert the police.

Meanwhile, Kelantan police chief Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat was reported today as saying that the migrants had been under the custody of the Kelantan Immigration Department.
