Over 3,000 Delegates To Attend PBB Central Zone Special Convention In Sibu
SIBU, July 5 (Bernama) -- More than 3,000 delegates from 24 branches are expected to attend the 2026 Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu Sarawak (PBB) Central Zone Special Convention at the Sibu Indoor Stadium on July 26.
PBB secretary-general Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi said the central zone would be the first to hold the special convention this year, ahead of the southern, Betong and northern zones.
He said the organising committee meeting was held today to coordinate preparations and ensure the convention runs smoothly.
“Among the highlights will be a presentation on the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63). There will also be presentations on the Post COVID-19 Development Strategy 2030 (PCDS 2030), as well as several other issues, including political matters,” he told a press conference after chairing the organising committee meeting for the convention here today.
Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, who is also PBB president, is scheduled to officiate the special convention and deliver his address to the delegates.
