KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 2 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Wednesday, in line with the positive performance of the cash market.
The September 2026 contract rose 17.5 points to 1,681.0, October 2026 gained 18.5 points to 1,681.0, December 2026 increased 16.5 points to 1,686.5, and March 2027 advanced 15.5 points to 1,670.5.
Turnover fell to 8,598 lots from 19,070 lots on Tuesday, while open interest decreased to 47,550 contracts from 54,329 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 8.20 points to 1,708.74 compared with 1,700.54 yesterday.
