KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 24 (Bernama) -- EBENE Bio-Ray Healthcare is highlighting the importance of sports recovery through its attempt to set a Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) for the “Most Participants in a Sports Recovery Session” at Sky Race 2026.

Its Marketing and E-Commerce Director Goh Sa Ki said the initiative was aimed at raising awareness of recovery as an important part of an active lifestyle, particularly among those pursuing running and tower running.

“We are really proud to work with the Malaysian Book of Records. As of today, we have already exceeded our target of 1,000 participants in this sport alone because we wanted as a brand to raise awareness about recovery,” she told Bernama here, yesterday.

Goh said the partnership aligned with EBENE’s mission, with Sky Race representing courage and determination to finish the race while encouraging people to move with confidence before, during and after recovery.

She said proper care was important to help people remain active and continue pursuing their passion for sports and other physical activities.

According to Goh, tower running was physically demanding and placed intense pressure on the knees, back and legs making proper support important throughout the activity.

“Yes, tower running really puts intense pressure in your knees, your back as well as your legs. So, our products like knee guards support as well as compression socks really help to prepare you before the run and during the run, and also after,” she said.

She said the support was particularly important during the recovery phase allowing participants to continue pursuing their passion for running, sports and an active lifestyle.

As part of its partnership with Sky Race 2026, EBENE set up a Sports Recovery Zone, offering sports massage and guided stretching sessions to help participants stretch, recover and recharge after completing the tower-running challenge.

The initiative formed part of EBENE’s fifth “Move with EBENE” activation which aims to encourage Malaysians to stay active while raising awareness of proactive knee care, proper support and recovery.

During the event, EBENE also highlighted the importance of caring for the knees before discomfort disrupts an active lifestyle rather than only addressing the issue after pain or discomfort occurs.

Participants were also able to experience EBENE’s range of knee support and compression solutions designed to cater to different mobility and activity needs.

EBENE is the Official Main Partner and Official Knee Support Partner of Sky Race 2026 which was held at Stadium Merdeka on Aug 22 and 23 which attracted approximately 8,000 runners and fitness enthusiasts.

With 30 years of experience in the healthcare support category EBENE continues to develop solutions aimed at supporting mobility and helping consumers maintain an active lifestyle.
