Dutch Lady 2Q Net Profit Rises To RM38.17 Mln

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 18 (Bernama) -- Dutch Lady Milk Industries Bhd’s (DLMI) net profit for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026 (2Q 2026) rose to RM38.17 million versus RM23.39 million in 2Q 2025.

Revenue for the quarter under review improved by 2.9 per cent to RM386.55 million compared to RM375.60 million previously.

The company said the growth in revenue was primarily driven by higher sales in its core liquid milk range, which was relaunched with a new pack identity during the quarter.

“Strong momentum in the out-of-home channel as well as positive contribution from innovations, particularly Dutch Lady Omega 3*6 and the newly launched Dutch Lady Tealive range, have also supported our performance,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

The group further said that the strong sales performance demonstrates the resilience of its core portfolio, sustained momentum from product innovations and successful acquisitions of new accounts in the out-of-home channel.

DLMI also said that it has successfully completed the full transition of its production operations to its new IR4.0 Manufacturing Facility and Distribution Centre in Bandar Enstek.

“This development underscores DLMI’s long‑term commitment to operational excellence, supply chain resilience, and innovation in response to evolving consumer needs.

“The strategic capacity expansion enhances operational efficiency and opens opportunities to strengthen DLMI’s position in the Malaysian dairy industry,” it added.

The group added that following a repayment of US$15.1 million, the outstanding intercompany loan balance has reduced to US$7.0 million (RM28.5 million) as of 2Q 2026, reflecting strong cash generation, significantly lower capex expenditures and a reduced dependence on borrowings, while maintaining adequate liquidity.
