KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 9 (Bernama) -- Former Football Association of Selangor (FAS) secretary-general Rosman Mohd Ibrahim died at the Shah Alam Hospital today. He was 63.
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) shared the news, saying Rosman breathed his last at 5.36 pm.
"Our condolences to his family. May Allah forgive all his sins and place him among the believers," it said in a statement.
Funeral prayers are expected to be held at a surau in Section 13, Shah Alam, tomorrow before the remains are laid to rest at the Section 21 Muslim Cemetery.
Rosman headed the FAS as secretary-general from 2013 to 2018.
In August 2023, Rosman was also appointed FAM assistant secretary-general, besides having served on the national football governing body's Futsal Committee.
His last position was as FAM Infrastructure and Facilities Management Unit manager.
