KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 5 (Bernama) -- Ampang parliamentary constituency Coordinator and Prime Minister's Political Secretary Datuk Azman Abidin has pledged to ensure that the delivery of assistance and welfare support to residents there continues in a more structured, efficient and effective manner.
He said the efforts would be coordinated with the Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU) of the Prime Minister's Department (JPM) and relevant government agencies to ensure that every government initiative reaches the people.
He made the commitment following his appointment by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to serve as the Ampang Parliamentary Constituency Coordinator.
"Any applications for welfare assistance related to residents in the Ampang parliamentary constituency may be submitted directly to the Office of the Prime Minister's Political Secretary for the necessary coordination," he said in a statement posted on Facebook today.
The delivery of assistance will also be coordinated with the assemblymen representing the Ampang parliamentary constituency, community leaders and relevant parties to ensure that the welfare of residents continues to receive due attention.
Azman said he and his team are committed to carrying out the responsibility entrusted to them with professionalism, integrity and accountability to ensure the welfare of the people of Ampang remains a priority.
