KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 (Bernama) -- Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil has expressed his appreciation to all postal workers for their commitment and dedication to ensuring every letter, document and parcel reaches its destination, including in remote and hard-to-reach areas.
In a Facebook post, he said that behind every delivery was a trust that had to be fulfilled, as well as a service that continued to connect people.
“Happy World Post Day to postal workers throughout the country. Thank you for your service and dedication,” he said.
World Post Day is celebrated on Oct 9 every year to recognise the importance of postal and courier services and appreciate the commitment of postal workers in providing the best possible service to customers.
This year, World Post Day carries the theme “One Postal Network, Infinite Possibilities”, highlighting the potential of an integrated postal network to expand opportunities, strengthen connections and drive innovation in the digital era.
