KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 6 (Bernama) -- Khazanah Nasional Bhd’s Dana Impak had mobilised RM2.6 billion in investments as at Dec 31, 2025, supporting around 130 Malaysian and Malaysian-linked companies and more than 4,200 talents.
Khazanah’s Dana Impak Report, launched today, also sets out Dana Impak’s catalytic role in crowding in capital and strategic partners to support the growth of Malaysian companies and entrepreneurs.
“RM905 million deployed into these companies had directly crowded in RM433 million of external capital, equivalent to 48 sen for every RM1 invested by Khazanah.
“64 per cent of the more than 4,200 talent supported were in skilled roles,” Khazanah said in a statement today.
Khazanah managing director Datuk Amirul Feisal Wan Zahir said that as a purpose-driven, long-term investor, Khazanah recognises that Malaysia’s resilience increasingly depends on the strength of its own firms, particularly as capital becomes more selective and global markets more complex.
“The progress of Dana Impak reflects a collective effort, with the government, investors, fund managers, industry partners and institutions coming together to strengthen Malaysia’s firms across their growth cycles, improve their investability and enable access to deeper pools of capital over time,” he said.
Looking ahead, Amirul Feisal said Dana Impak would continue to deepen capabilities and talent in strategic ecosystems.
“Under the Ministry of Finance’s GEAR-uP initiative, Khazanah would continue to mobilise capital and partnerships to support more Malaysian companies and entrepreneurs to scale, compete globally and capture a greater share of the value they create,” he said.
Khazanah said that Dana Impak combines catalytic capital with capacity-building, partnerships and networks to strengthen Malaysian firms and develop strategic ecosystems for new engines of growth.
Since 2024, Dana Impak has sharpened its focus towards a programmatic approach across three areas: the venture capital and startup ecosystem, mid-tier companies, and semiconductor and advanced manufacturing.
