KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 6 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Tuesday, tracking the underlying cash market.
The October 2026, November 2026, and December 2026 contracts gained 5.5 points each to 1,628.50, 1,630, and 1,635.50, respectively. The March 2027 contract increased 4.5 points to 1,620.50.
Turnover improved to 6,701 lots from 5,722 on Monday, while open interest rose to 46,636 contracts from 46,393 previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 1.60 points to 1,633.35 from Monday’s close of 1,631.75.
