MOSCOW, Oct 1 (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) -- The combined wealth of Russia's richest entrepreneurs has declined by almost US$23.6 billion since the beginning of 2026, according to RIA Novosti calculations based on data from the Bloomberg Billionaires Index (BBI), reported Sputnik/RIA Novosti.
The index is calculated based on the value of shares in companies owned by billionaires. For some companies, calculations are based on their market capitalisation-to-EBITDA ratio or price-to-earnings ratio.

Elon Musk remains the world's richest person, with his fortune rising by US$300 billion since the start of the year to US$920 billion. Google co-founders Larry Page and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos rank second and third, with their wealth rising by US$22.9 billion to US$292 billion and by US$19.2 billion to US$273 billion, respectively.
