IOI Corp Posts Higher Net Profit Of RM1.68 Bln In FY2026

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 28 (Bernama) -- IOI Corporation Bhd’s (IOI Corp) net profit for the financial year ended June 30, 2026 (FY2026) rose to RM1.68 billion from RM1.52 billion a year earlier, mainly supported by higher profit from its resource-based manufacturing and plantation segments.

Revenue increased to RM11.78 billion from RM11.33 billion previously, the group said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Friday.

IOI Corp said its resource-based manufacturing segment recorded a profit of RM348.4 million in FY2026, compared with RM128.4 million in FY2025.

Excluding a RM58.5 million fair value loss on derivative financial instruments, the segment’s underlying profit surged 173 per cent to RM406.9 million from RM149.1 million, mainly driven by higher-margin contributions from its refinery and oleochemical sub-segments, as well as stronger contributions from associates.

The plantation segment’s profit rose eight per cent to RM1.71 billion from RM1.58 billion in FY2025.

Looking ahead, the group expects crude palm oil (CPO) prices to remain firm into FY2027 amid concerns over the impact of the El Nino weather phenomenon on oil palm production in Malaysia and Indonesia.

It expects fresh fruit bunch production to increase by a moderate single-digit percentage in FY2027 as it enters the final year of its seven-year replanting programme in Sabah.

“With our positive outlook for CPO prices, we expect our plantation segment to deliver good financial performance in FY2027,” it said.

The board declared a second interim single-tier dividend of 7.0 sen per share, payable on Sept 25, 2026.

This brings the total dividend declared for FY2026 to 12.5 sen per share, up from 10.5 sen in FY2025.
