KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 19 (Bernama) -- Lotte Chemical Titan Holding Bhd today clarified that its South Korean parent company, Lotte Chemical Corporation (LCC), is considering various strategic measures concerning the company, with no decision made thus far.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Lotte Chemical Titan clarified the matter following reports in Korea Economic Daily titled "Lotte resumes sale of Malaysian, Indonesian petrochemical assets" published on Aug 17, 2026 and "Korean parent to dispose of Malaysia-listed Lotte Chemical Titan" published by The Edge yesterday.
Lotte Chemical Titan said there were similar reports in other media regarding a proposed sale of LCC's interest in the company.
It said the company will make the necessary announcement as required under the Main Market Listing Requirements should there be any further developments.
