KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 17 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower on Monday.
The August 2026, September 2026 and December 2026 contracts fell 0.5 of a point each to 1,725.5, 1,704.5, and 1,706.0, while March 2027 declined four points to 1,685.0.
Turnover decreased to 4,760 lots from 5,382 lots on last Friday, while open interest eased to 40,647 contracts from 41,862 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 1.50 points to 1,725.89 compared with last Friday’s close of 1,727.39.
