KULAI, Aug 14 (Bernama) -- Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Murni Jaya has received RM100,000 as the Ministry of Communications’ MADANI Adopted School to upgrade its facilities.
Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching said the funds will go towards four school signboards, two Smartboards for the hall and resource centre, lighting upgrades, hall beautification, and a new PA system.
"Also included are two air-conditioning units, 10 iPads for the computer lab, and a Robot Sumo set for STEM and TVET activities," she said after the ministry's 2026 funding handover ceremony at the school in Layang-Layang today.
Teo said the facility upgrades for SK Murni Jaya are expected to be completed by October, while other schools receiving similar funding must ensure full implementation within the year, in line with Ministry of Finance guidelines.
She said an additional RM20,000 has been allocated to supply 19 tables and chairs for the school canteen.
