KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 10 (Bernama) -- The national sepak takraw squad put on a dominant performance as they brushed Indonesia aside with a 2-0 victory in the semi-final at Fashion Island Mall, Bangkok today.
The national team will meet arch-rivals Thailand in the final tomorrow.
In today’s semi-final, the first regu of Muhammad Noraizat Mohd Nordin, Kamarul Ezzad Kamarul Imran and Zarif Marican contributed the first point with a confident 15-13, 15-9 win.
The second regu of Muhammad Haziq Khairul Nizam, Hafizul Hayazi Adnan and Zuleffendi Sumari completed the victory with a 15-10, 15-8 win to secure a 2-0 result.
Thailand had earlier confirmed their place in the final after beating Laos 2-0 in their semi-final match.
