SEREMBAN, Aug 1 (Bernama) -- Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi was seen arriving at Istana Hinggap here tonight, believed to be for an audience with Negeri Sembilan Yang Dipertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir.
More than 10 vehicles believed to be carrying BN and Perikatan Nasional (PN) leaders, including Negeri Sembilan BN chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, entered the palace grounds at about 10 pm.
Unofficial results of the 16th Negeri Sembilan state election showed that BN and PN had secured a two-thirds majority win.
Ahmad Zahid claimed that BN won 18 state seats while PN secured seven, giving the two parties a combined 25 seats in the 36-member State Legislative Assembly.
