KLCI Futures Finish Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, July 7 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, tracking the softer underlying cash market. 

The July 2026 contract eased half a point to 1,685.0, the August 2026 contract slid 2.5 points to 1,684.50, the September 2026 contract fell 2.0 points to 1,665.0, and the December 2026 contract dropped 1.5 points to 1,667.0.

Turnover decreased to 4,503 lots from 4,673 lots on Monday, while open interest inched up to 33,657 contracts from 33,394 contracts previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 0.60 of a point to 1,682.93 from Monday’s close of 1,683.53.
