MyNIISe: 19.48 Mln QR Transactions Recorded At BSI And KSAB As Of June

PUTRAJAYA, July 2 (Bernama) -- A total of 19.48 million quick response (QR) code transactions via the National Integrated Immigration System (MyNIISe) were recorded at the Sultan Iskandar Building (BSI) and Sultan Abu Bakar Complex (KSAB) in Johor as of June 28, said Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

In a post on his official Facebook page today, he said the application has also recorded 2.4 million downloads and 1.27 million registered users, reflecting increased adoption of digital lanes for entry and exit at the country’s two main entry points.

“Previously, many spoke about congestion at the Johor Causeway. Today, I would like to share about the solution. Alhamdulillah, the MyNIISe application is more stable, and more Malaysians are using the QR facility for entry and exit at BSI and KSAB. This means more users are opting for faster and more convenient digital lanes.

“This digital transformation has also been expanded to five major airports nationwide, with more than 5.59 million transactions recorded over the same period,” he said.

Saifuddin Nasution said digital transformation initiatives such as MyNIISe will continue to be strengthened to enhance service delivery, simplify the public’s daily affairs, and improve the efficiency of the country’s immigration system.

“The MADANI government’s approach prioritises performance and delivery, with every reform not merely announced but translated into more efficient, faster services that deliver tangible benefits directly to the people,” he said.

MyNIISe is one of the key initiatives under the government’s reform agenda and can be downloaded via the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei AppGallery.
