BN To Use 'Dacing' Logo In Johor, Negeri Sembilan State Elections - Zambry
JOHOR BAHRU, June 13 (Bernama) -- Barisan Nasional (BN) has finalised its stand to contest using its ‘dacing’ logo for the Johor and Negeri Sembilan state elections.
BN secretary-general Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir said the matter was among five main decisions reached at the BN Annual General Meeting at the Johor UMNO Liaison Office today.
“The Johor and Negeri Sembilan state elections are BN’s main focus, and all party machinery will be mobilised completely to ensure victory,” he said in a statement tonight.
He also repeated BN’s stand that it would remain steadfast in support of the Unity Government till the end of its term, adding that the commitment was vital for the country’s political stability, to maintain foreign investor confidence and to ensure the continuity of the economic development agenda for the people’s well-being.
The Johor state election will be held on July 11, while the Negeri Sembilan state election will be held on Aug 1.
