KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 16 (Bernama) -- Tabung Haji (TH) has assured depositors that its operating systems remain secure, with the protection of their accounts, savings and personal data a top priority.
In a statement today, TH said that as additional measures, depositors were urged to safeguard their account information by never sharing passwords, Transaction Authorisation Codes (TAC), One-Time Passwords (OTP) or verification codes with anyone.
“TH will never request such information through phone calls, SMS or email,” it said.
Depositors were also advised to be wary of suspicious calls, messages, emails or links seeking personal or account information, even if they appeared to originate from TH.
Those who receive suspicious communications or have concerns about their accounts should contact the TH Contact Centre at 03-6207 1919 or visit their nearest TH branch.
TH also reminded depositors to access their accounts only through official channels, including its website and THiJARI mobile application.
“TH will continue strengthening security controls and monitoring its systems to protect depositors’ savings and personal information. Thank you for your patience, cooperation and continued trust in TH,” it said.
