SHAH ALAM, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- Three people were killed while a boy was seriously injured after a car carrying a family of four was believed to have crashed into the rear of a lorry along Jalan Raja Muda Musa towards Tanjong Karang early this afternoon.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) assistant director of operations Ashrul Riezal Asbar said the department was informed of the incident at about 1.37 pm before personnel were dispatched to the scene.
“The accident involved local victims, including a 44-year-old woman who was the mother of the three children in the car. All four victims were trapped in the vehicle.
“In the incident, a 12-year-old girl and an eight-year-old boy died at the scene, while another 10-year-old boy sustained serious head injuries,” he said in a statement today.
Ashrul said the operation involved four personnel from the Tanjong Karang Fire and Rescue Station.
