KUCHING, Oct 6 (Bernama) -- Kuching City FC head coach Aidil Sharin Sahak has described tomorrow's ASEAN Club Championship (ACC) 2026/2027 clash against Tampines Rovers FC as a tough challenge, but insisted that The Cats are determined to secure a home win.
He said Tampines Rovers possess quality and experience, including Singapore international players, meaning his side must deliver their best performance against the Singaporean outfit.
"This is an international club match, and it will not be easy, so we expect a tough match and intense competition," he told a pre-match press conference here today.
The Group A match between Kuching City FC and Tampines Rovers FC is scheduled to take place tomorrow at Stadium Taha Ariffin in Petra Jaya, Kuching.
In the meantime, Aidil Sharin expressed hope that his players can deliver an entertaining display for their supporters on home ground.
He noted that fan support has grown increasingly positive over the past two seasons, with attendance rising following the team's strong results.
"I hope that support continues for tomorrow's international match to give the players a boost," he said.
