BERLIN, Oct 4 (Bernama-dpa) -- The Bahrain Grand Prix, which was moved to Malaysia because of conflict in West Asia, was delayed due to heavy rain in Sepang on Sunday, reported German Press Agency (dpa).
Max Verstappen of Red Bull is on pole position for the first time this season, but the scheduled start was pushed back to an undetermined time because of the downpour.
The conditions could lead to wild race once stewards decide it is safe enough to begin.
The original grand prix in Bahrain was postponed in April due to the Iran war and was moved to October in Malaysia as tensions continue in West Asia.
