KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 30 (Bernama) -- The government will study the cost pressures in procurement and operations faced by small enterprises following the global supply crisis when formulating Budget 2027, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Anwar, who is also Finance Minister, said the matter was among those raised during the Budget 2027 engagement session with representatives of associations and Bumiputera contractor companies held at Perdana Putra, Putrajaya, today.
He said all views and suggestions put forward during the session have been taken into account to be properly examined in the preparation of the budget.
“The MADANI Government will ensure that Budget 2027 can open up wider avenues and opportunities so that the people and businesses can build their capabilities and uphold the dignity of the nation’s people,” he said in a Facebook post.
According to the calendar for the Third Meeting of the Fifth Session of the 15th Parliament, which begins on Oct 5, the tabling of Budget 2027 is scheduled for Oct 9.
