SINGAPORE, Sept 17 (Bernama) -- OAG, the intelligence partner for global travel, today released Megahubs 2026, its annual ranking of global airport connectivity. Asia Pacific dominates the index, with eight airports in the global top 20. Kuala Lumpur International (KUL) ranks fourth globally and first among all Asian airports, with connections to 154 destinations.
KUL also tops OAG's Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) Megahubs index, offering nearly 15,000 possible low-cost connections. AirAsia operates 34% of total flights at the airport. Seoul Incheon (ICN) holds second place in the LCC rankings with connectivity reaching 198 destinations.
