KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 15 (Bernama) -- Gold futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives (BMD) closed lower today following the decline in gold futures on the United States Commodity Exchange (US COMEX).
At the close, the spot-month September 2026 contract decreased to US$4,273.70 per troy ounce from US$4,295.50 per troy ounce on Monday, and October 2026 slid to US$4,289.20 per troy ounce from US$4,310.80.
November 2026 dropped to US$4,306.00 per troy ounce from US$4,326.60 per troy ounce yesterday, while December 2026, February 2027 and April 2027 all fell to US$4,313.80 per troy ounce from US$4,334.40 previously.
Trading volume declined to 259 lots from 302 lots on Monday, while open interest shrank to 311 contracts from 358 contracts.
Physical gold was fixed at US$4,267.10 per troy ounce at the London Bullion Market Association’s afternoon fix on Sept 14, 2026.
