KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 10 (Bernama) -- Paragon Globe Bhd's (PGB) wholly-owned subsidiary, PGBG Construction Sdn Bhd, has accepted a letter of award (LoA) worth RM45.16 million to provide earthworks and retaining walls for a data centre development in Johor.
PGB, which did not name the data centre operator, said the works are targeted for completion by the fourth quarter of 2026.
“The works will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders' shareholding of PGB as the LoA does not involve any issuance of new shares by PGB,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.
The board expects the LoA to contribute positively to the group's earnings and net assets over the duration of the works, it said.
PGB added that none of its directors, major shareholders or persons connected with them have any direct or indirect interest in the LoA.
