KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 29 (Bernama) -- Nutrition and wellness brand ENVORA and performance and endurance coaching community RC Coaching have entered into a 12-month strategic partnership to support Malaysia’s growing endurance sports community.
In a statement today, ENVORA said the collaboration, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), combines nutrition, wellness and structured coaching to complement athletes’ preparation and recovery.
ENVORA founder Lim Boon Wai said good performance depended on more than training, with proper nutrition, recovery and overall well-being also playing an important role.
“Our collaboration with RC Coaching allows us to connect with athletes in a meaningful way and demonstrate how nutrition and wellness can form part of an active lifestyle, whether someone is training for a race or simply working towards becoming healthier and more active,” he said.
RC Coaching founder Rupert Chen said having appropriate nutritional and wellness support could help athletes take better care of themselves throughout their preparation and recovery.
“We are pleased to have ENVORA as part of that journey,” he said.
A key component of the collaboration is a six-month sponsorship for eight RC Coaching elite athletes - Benjamin Chen, Yap Qi Yi, Martyn Lim, Sara Chen, Esther Chen, Edwin Thiang, Eeva Wong and Premsanjiivraj Silvaraj.
During the sponsorship period, they will receive ENVORA products while sharing their experiences, training routines and insights with the wider endurance sports community.
The initiative will also highlight the demands of preparing for competition, from maintaining consistency to achieving race-day readiness, through athlete stories and community activities.
It also supports ENVORA’s retail expansion, with its products available at selected Guardian and Healthlane outlets.
Over the 12-month period, ENVORA and RC Coaching will develop further athlete, community and content initiatives focused on performance and everyday well-being.
