KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 26 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened higher on Wednesday.
At 9.30 am, the August 2026 contract went up six points to 1,745.0, September 2026 rose 6.5 points to 1,727.0, December 2026 added seven points to 1,727.5, and March 2027 was 5.5 points higher at 1,708.5.
Turnover was at 24,001, while open interest totalled 67,189 contracts.
At 9.50 am, the FBM KLCI climbed by 6.62 points to 1,742.95 from Monday’s close of 1,736.33. The market was closed on Tuesday in conjunction with Prophet Muhammad’s birthday.
