PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad Reports Resilient Q2 Performance Amid Market Volatility

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 24 (Bernama) -- PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (PDB) today reported its first-half financial year 2026 (1H FY2026) performance, which was delivered amid sustained supply and pricing disruptions arising from the West Asia conflict. Throughout the period, PDB remained focused on maintaining reliable fuel supply nationwide, demonstrating resilience through disciplined operations and effective supply management. First-half profit after tax increased 19% to RM685.4 million from RM574.0 million a year earlier.

Key Financial Highlights for Q2 2026
• Revenue for the quarter stood at RM16,091.1 million, reflecting higher average selling prices against the corresponding quarter last year (Q2 2025).
• Sales volume increased 1% versus Q2 2025, supported by continued Mogas demand growth and the Government’s BUDI Madani RON95 (BUDI95) subsidy programme enabled by the Setel app.
• PAT was RM394.0 million, an increase of 44% from RM272.9 million in Q2 2025, reflecting improved Commercial performance and a rebound from price lag impacts recorded in the previous quarter.
