IPOH, Aug 24 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and MARA continue to strengthen efforts to form students with integrity through the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Student Camp (AMAR) which is a platform to educate students of MARA Educational Institutions (IPMa) on anti-corruption and leadership values.

MACC Community Education Division deputy director Samsul Salip said the implementation of the IPMa AMAR Camp every year consistently shows the commitment of MARA and IPMa students, which is very encouraging with the implementation of 31 such camps since 2015.

He said building the charisma of students as agents of change in society is not an easy endeavour because history has proven that every social transformation, renewal of thinking and moral awakening in a country always starts from the idealism of the young.

"This integrity camp is specially designed not only to provide exposure to understanding, but to ignite high spirit and integrity in IPMa students through the modules implemented," he said in a statement today.

Samsul said this when speaking at the MARA Character Enrichment Programme, AMAR Camp Series 1 2026 at Lenggong MARA Student Excellence Centre (PUSKEP) yesterday, with the camp lasting three days starting on August 21 being attended by nearly 100 IPMa students.

The programme was officiated by MARA deputy director-general (education) Zahari Aziz and was attended by representatives of state MARA management and PUSKEP.
