PUTRAJAYA, Aug 21 (Bernama) -- The Health Ministry (MOH) is focusing on three main clusters for Budget 2027, namely strengthening healthcare services for the people, enhancing national resilience, and promoting social justice and development for all.
The ministry said the matters were discussed during the ministry’s Budget 2027 Engagement Session held here today.
“MOH also stressed that every allocation must be outcome- and impact-oriented, rather than merely focusing on the amount of expenditure.
“Each proposal must clearly identify the problem to be addressed, the beneficiary groups, the intended changes and the methods for measuring its effectiveness,” it said in a social media post today.
According to the post, Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad, in his speech at the engagement session, stressed that Budget 2027 must be utilised as an instrument to strengthen the country’s healthcare system.
He also said the approach was important to ensure that every allocation channelled to MOH truly delivers outcomes and impact for the people.
