KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 8 (Bernama) -- The impressive performance of national young rider Muhammad Hakim Danish Ramli midway through the season has earned him a place in the Moto3 World Motorcycle Championship for the 2027 season, after he was confirmed to remain with MSi Racing Team.
ZK Racing, the organisation responsible for developing Hakim Danish’s talent, said in a joint statement that the rider would embark on a new chapter alongside his new teammate, Argentina’s Valentín Perrone.
“Hakim Danish’s retention demonstrates MSi Racing Team’s long-term commitment to developing world-class young talent, as well as their confidence in the 19-year-old rider’s ability to continue challenging in Moto3,” the statement said.
Hakim Danish, in the same statement, expressed his gratitude for being able to continue his journey with MSi Racing Team and said he was eager to keep working hard in pursuit of better results next season.
During the 2026 season, the Terengganu rider made history by securing his maiden podium at the Italian Grand Prix (GP) in Mugello, finishing third last May.
He then delivered Malaysia’s first Moto3 victory after a decade-long wait by winning the Czech Republic GP in Brno last June.
Hakim Danish currently sits seventh in the Moto3 championship standings with 86 points, 145 points behind championship leader and CFMOTO Valresa Aspar Team representative from Spain, Maximo Quiles, who has accumulated 231 points.
