WASHINGTON, Aug 4 (Bernama-dpa) -- Second-quarter revenue at Palantir Technologies surged 93 per cent, the US-based company said on Monday.
The company's revenue for the period rose to US$1.935 billion from US$1.003 billion last year, reported German news agency dpa.
Co-founder and chief executive Alex Karp said demand for artificial intelligence sovereignty had "been unleashed."
"And Palantir is the only company that has demonstrated it can transform tokens into actual economic value. Our customers trust us to provide them with maximal control over their operations, data, and decisions," he said.
"This quarter was otherworldly: our US commercial revenue grew 149 per cent year-over-year, our overall revenue grew 93 per cent year-over-year, and our Rule of 40 score climbed to 155 per cent. The sovereign AI revolution makes us very optimistic about the future."
Palantir's bottom line totalled US$1.061 billion, or US$0.41 per share. This compares with US$326.727 million, or US$0.13 per share, last year.
