Johor Polls: Ballot Boxes Start Arriving At Vote-Tallying Centres
JOHOR BAHRU, July 11 (Bernama) -- Ballot boxes for the 16th Johor State Election from several polling centres began arriving at vote-tallying centres this evening.
As of 6 pm, the first three ballot boxes — from Pulau Sibu, Pulau Besar and Pulau Pemanggil for the Tenggaroh constituency — had arrived at the vote-tallying centre at Dewan Jubli Intan Sultan Ibrahim, Mersing.
In addition, two postal ballot boxes for the Perling constituency were brought to the vote-tallying centre at Dewan Jubli Intan, Johor Bahru at 6.38 pm.
Meanwhile, two postal ballot boxes for the Kempas constituency were brought by Election Commission (EC) personnel to the vote-tallying centre at Dewan Cahaya TNB Kempas at 6.47 pm.
All 1,076 polling centres across the state closed at 6 pm today.
