Anwar To Launch Final High-Energy Campaign Blitz Across Five Strategic Locations In Johor Tomorrow
JOHOR BAHRU, July 9 (Bernama) -- Pakatan Harapan (PH) Chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will launch a final, high-energy campaign blitz across five strategic locations tomorrow to secure victory for the coalition's candidates in the 16th Johor State Election (PRN).
Through this intense tour, Anwar will traverse several State Legislative Assembly (DUN) constituencies, starting with the 'Sentuhan Sahabat MADANI' programme in Bukit Gambir, Tangkak at 3:50 pm before heading to Bukit Batu, Kulai at around 6:00 pm.
Entering the final phase tomorrow evening, the Prime Minister is scheduled to attend the DUN Layang-Layang 'Grand Finale' programme in Simpang Renggam at 8:15 pm followed by the Johor Bahru Music Festival on the grounds of Perling Mall at 9:30 pm.
The final day of campaigning will conclude with the "Johor Ke Depan, Undi Harapan PRN Johor" (Johor Forward, Vote Harapan for Johor State Election) Grand Finale Programme in Pasir Gudang at 10:30 pm.
"Insya-Allah, tomorrow is the final day of campaigning in Johor to ensure victory for the Harapan candidates," he said in a Facebook post.
"Once again, I invite all residents of Johor to join this wave of change, thereby realizing a new hope for the people and the future of the state," he said in the Facebook post.
The campaigning period for the Johor state election, which began on nomination day on June 27, will officially end at 11:59 PM tomorrow.
This Saturday, a total of 2.7 million voters are expected to fulfill their responsibilities to elect 56 representatives.
