KLCI Futures Ends Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher on Thursday.

The July 2026 contract gained 3.5 points to 1,683.50, the August 2026 contract rose 2.5 points to 1,684.0, the September 2026 contract garnered 3.0 points to 1,663.50, and the December 2026 contract improved 4.0 points to 1,666.0. 

Turnover increased to 5,815 lots from 5,574 lots on Wednesday, while open interest rose to 36,724 contracts from 36,179 contracts previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI fell 5.97 points to 1,677.64 from Wednesday's close of 1,683.61.
