37,880 Vehicles In Sarawak Eligible To Apply For SKDS
KUCHING, July 3 (Bernama) -- A total of 37,880 vehicles in Sarawak are eligible to apply under the Subsidised Diesel Control System (SKDS), but to date only more than 26,000 have been registered.
Sarawak Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN) director Matthew Dominic Barin said many eligible vehicles had yet to be registered under the system.
"We invite vehicle owners and the companies concerned in Sarawak to submit their applications either by visiting KPDN offices or online through the MySubsidi portal.
"I also urge vehicle owners to check their eligibility so that they can benefit from the diesel subsidy provided by the government," he said.
He said this during visits to several petrol stations around Kuching today in conjunction with the implementation of the SKDS in Sarawak.
