Malaysia To Enhance Cooperation With BFA In Various Fields - PM Anwar
KUALA LUMPUR, July 2 (Bernama) -- Malaysia will continue to work closely with the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) in the areas of trade and investment, digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), energy transition, food security, education and talent development, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
In a post on Facebook today, Anwar said he made the announcement when he received a visit from BFA secretary-general Zhang Jun to exchange views on the increasingly challenging regional and global landscape.
"In a world facing geopolitical uncertainties, economic pressures and rapid technological change, I stress that closer regional cooperation, inclusiveness and dialogue-based cooperation remain the key to stability, prosperity and shared well-being," said Anwar.
Anwar, who is also the Finance Minister, said it is hoped the effort would continue to strengthen the region's resilience and open up more spaces for cooperation that would bring tangible benefits to the people as a whole.
