Johor Royals Pay Last Respects To Former Household Comptroller Ali Musa
KUALA LUMPUR, June 17 (Bernama) -- Her Royal Highness Tunku Tun Aminah Sultan Ibrahim, accompanied by her brothers Tunku Panglima Johor Tunku Abdul Rahman and Tunku Putera Johor Tunku Abu Bakar, paid their last respects to former Comptroller of the Johor Royal Household Brigadier-General (Rtd) Datuk Ali Musa, who died this morning.
The children of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia were received at Sultan Iskandar Mosque in Bandar Dato’ Onn, Johor Bahru by Ali’s brother, Colonel (Rtd) Datuk Mohamed Perang Musa, as well as family members and relatives.
Also present to pay their last respects were Johor State Secretary Datuk Mohammed Ridha Abd Kadir, together with officers and staff of the Johor Palace.
According to a post on The Royal Johor Facebook page today, Ali was later laid to rest at the Ar-Raudhah Muslim Cemetery in Mount Austin.
Ali, 83, died at his residence at 10 am, surrounded by his wife Datin Robiah Rafeah Abdul Kadir and their three children.
He had served as Comptroller of the Royal Household of Johor, a role in which he made significant contributions to the state's royal institution.
