Malaysia-Palestine Strengthen Higher Education Cooperation - Zambry
KUALA LUMPUR, June 17 (Bernama) -- Malaysia and Palestine will continue to strengthen cooperation in the field of higher education, said Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir.
He said the matter was discussed when he received a courtesy call from Palestinian Ambassador to Malaysia Jehad Alqedra.
In a Facebook post today, he said the discussion also touched on the need to continue to strengthen support for Palestinian students, in addition to exploring opportunities for cooperation between universities in both countries.
"Malaysia has always believed that education is a bridge of hope, peace and the future.
"In that spirit, we will continue to play a role in helping the Palestinian people rebuild the strength of the nation through knowledge and education," he said.
